Holy Fire© Reiki is part of Usui Reiki.
The word 'Holy' is not meant to imply a Religious connection. William Rand explains it like this :
Holy Fire® Definition
"The use of the word holy in the name Holy Fire® is not intended to have a religious meaning. The word holy has as its root meaning to be whole and complete and this is how it is used in Holy Fire®. Therefore, Holy Fire® is a spiritual energy that creates wholeness through purification, healing, empowerment and guidance".
What makes it different is, William Rand made some changes to the way Pracitioners are trained. The main change being that Reiki no longer is claimed to come 'through' the Reiki Practitioner, it actually is channelled from the 'Source'.
The 'Source' being what you believe most: The Universe, Higher Power, a God, Ascended Masters, Mary, Jesus; or what I prefer................................ it comes from Love.
This all made more sense to me as I retrained with William Rand after practising and training others in Usui Reiki for well over 20 years. I also undertook extra training with him when Covid began which enabled the effectiveness of Online Reiki Healing. His website is below:

I will have been preparing Space and meditating beforehand. Sageing my room. Or Saining, which is the traditional Gaelic name for cleansing and purification. Also bringing in my Guides to protect the Space and so much more.
Find your quiet place, meditate before hand if you wish. Comfort is vital.
If you cannot attend on the actual day, then you can contact me and be added to my Healing Grid. The Reiki will know where to go. Also, with their permission, you can add any relative or friend for healing too.
You don't have to attend any of my Yoga classes to be included in our Reiki sessions.
